During this session we will tackle auditing for behavioral health services. With the 2021 E/M guidelines now being used in both the outpatient and inpatient settings the way we view the complexity/risk of patient diagnoses and pair it with the treatment of the encounter does not always level out where the providers would expect. Together we will review how to audit the behavioral health E/M services in the various patient settings. We will also review other behavioral health specific services and the providers who can render them.
This presentation is approximately one hour in length and
has been approved for 1 AAPC CEU for core A and all specialties except CIRCC
