Let Our Team Educate YOUR Team!
Whether your providers are receiving 2021 Documentation Guidelines Training for the first time, or your providers need updates to the 2023 Revisions.... THIS TRAINING IS FOR YOU!
Training is created to the specific place/type of service, and scheduling is recommended to not exceed 60-90 minutes.
The goal of NAMAS training is not to convert providers into coders, but rather to train providers on documentation skills to ensure the outcomes are supporting the appropriate level of service.
Our training is specific in content that outlines complexity of care, medical necessity, documentation requirements- per 2021 Documentation Guidelines, efficiencies for providers in work flows while providing appropriate documentation, and ultimately how to pick the appropriate level of service. Each section of knowledge is affirmed by utilizing standard examples for applied learning.
While our trainings do use standard examples, these can be customized with specific examples provided by your organization. We believe this to be the game changer in maintaining provider engagement.
For each place/type of service training, 5-10 encounters will be requested for use as examples throughout the training. Applied learning is impactful, and including this level of familiarity breeds continuity.
Training Resources: Client can request the following NAMAS resources as part of the training:
Training Attestation Form to remind providers that compliance is ultimately their responsibility as the source of the documentation
PDF or laminated print version of provider reference card with E&M guidelines
5 or 10 question proficiency quiz (per the Client’s request)
Training can be performed Remote or Onsite
Recording of the Event:
There is a fee for recording of the event, but recording of the event may be permitted. NAMAS does allow this as we note this is an excellent way to provide educate to providers who are unable to attend, or an excellent tool for onboarding new hires.
Add-On AAPC CEU for your Coding/Auditing Team Members. NAMAS only passes along the expense of the cost of CEU application per session.
