Format: Live, Online, and Interactive

This bootcamp is delivered in a live, online format to help students stay accountable and on track with scheduled sessions, assignments, and real-time instructor engagement. Webcam participation is encouraged to promote an interactive learning experience.

Each session requires a minimum of 5 participants. If your selected session does not meet the minimum, you will be offered a seat in the next available session.

CPMA course with Liz Wilson

Great course! Very informative. The only thing I would have liked better is to have the presentations before we went over the information. I feel it would have been easier to follow the course with that information.

NAMAS Medical Auditing BootCamp

The course is extremely informative and helpful. However, it is also overwhelming and it seemed to be too much information packed into two days; therefore, I would suggest extending the training over 3+ days. In addition, the material provided in the power point presentation did not coincide with the training book; therefore, the trainer would be half way through explaining the info in the power point and we would still be searching for the info in the book. I suggest making the two tools coincide with one another. Thanks!

AUDITING BOOT CAMP

Pam was an amazing instructor. Amazing class. It would benefit in being a 3 day boot camp. It'd be nice to stay in the same hotel and have the slides beforehand instead of after....I'm a note taker. :)

CPMA Boot Camp

The class was very well organized and instructor was very knowledgeable and conveyed the information in an efficient manner. A lot of the information from the course was on the exam. I think that in the future the class should probably be three days since it is very difficult to focus intensely for two days and then sit for the exam the next day. While I do not think that I did well on the exam, and plan to take it again, I do not think that is a function of the instructor. She was very good.

Compliance Coding Monitor/Educator

I felt there was a lot of remedial coding information as many in the class were not used to using the book or auditing charts at all. More time covering auditing examples, especially surgery, infusions, etc. It felt rushed at the end. People were having to leave. Not sure how much stuck. I passed the test, but felt there could have been more detailed exam information. Overall, I love NAMAS education.

Outpatient Coding Educator

This was a good, comprehensive program. My only problem was there was a PowerPoint presentation but no handout provided. When I expressed disappointment and confusion as to why there was no handout, the teacher forwarded us a handout, but we had no resource to print it. It was not possible to transcribe each slide and then have time to write the remarks that went with each slide. We did have a book, but the PowerPoint did not correspond with the book and, again, it was time consuming to try to find the parts of the book that matched up with the info on the screen. My suggestion is that either a copy is brought for each attendee or that the program is sent prior to the class so each person can print their own and bring it along. The presenter was very knowledgeable and a great teacher.

Auditing Onsite Course

This was a great 2 day program. Pam was a great teacher. She was well informed in areas of the program. I could not have ask for a better teacher or program. We had a small group which made it really easy for us to run ideas off each other. Once again I'm so glad I took this class. The only down fall is I wish it had 3 days.

Medical Auditing Boot Camp

Pam is an excellent instructor. She was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. There was a nice rapport between Pam and the attendees, sharing experiences, which led to discussions pertinent to the class. I am so glad I decided to take this class in prep for my exam next month. The materials we were given are coming in handy for studying. The CEUs are nice, too, even though secondary to the purpose. Thank you!
