clinical reviewer for payment integrity
Unfortunately, I am afraid the technical issues over shadowed the flow of the presentation. I would have like to have had more time going over the new MDM sheet, unless it is the same one that we all use. I could not see the print. The speaker really did not cover in any length. I would suggest that the speakers somehow do a trial run with the sponsor for a few minutes, in order to assure there are no technical difficulties on their end. I do enjoy the presentations live due to the opportunity to ask questions but these things do happen and from a high level, the speaker appeared to have an understanding of what is to come with the changes but I am more interested in the very specific requirements of documentation, such as when you document time, are there any documentation requirements at all above documentation that would be included in the medical decision portion, I think the use of time will unfortunately be an area, providers will take advantage of. I would of welcomed more specific information regarding the bolts and nuts of the documentation requirements. Examples would have been nice but the speaker may have felt more information is forthcoming and a high level presentation at this time was the best way to go. Thank you for the information provided.
