Anyone may take the test at anytime. BootCamp attendance is NOT required, although recommended as the case are reviewed along with example questions during the bootcamp.
A 70% is required to pass the exam and obtain a CEMA, and one complimentary retest is provided. The exam is an online proctored exam (webcam required).
To maintain the CEMA certification, 12 CEUs is required annually, primarily in E&M, but NAMAS will accept CEUs used for other certification. Separate/Independent CEUs are NOT requiredNAMAS membership is required to retain the CEMA credential, however the membership provides no less than 12 annual webinars that meet the annual CEU requirements
