Professional Documentation Coding Auditor
This was an excellent webinar. One of the best I've listened to this year. Grant discussed topics and situations that only another auditor has experienced during the face-to-face meeting. The information on the updated regulations was helpful. Providing examples on how to reply in each scenario makes this webinar priceless.

Very good practical advice. I have had "my head handed to me by a doctor," a time or two, and can relate to Mr. Huang's webinar in that regard. I have always tried to make the education about the documentation, not the failure of the provider. I always make the provider aware, I am there to support them and always make myself available to them for questions or concerns. I have with one physician told him if it comes to it the documentation is his evidence, all discussed by Mr. Huang in this webinar. Very helpful practical advice for new and established coding auditors, thank you!

I enjoyed listening to the webinar. He said Coders didn't necessarily need to know the stats of the physician pool/details. In general, I guess not. I feel the better you know your physician and specialty the better coder you will be. You will become a resource for your provider to go to.

I thought this webinar was very good! I have not yet had to meet with a physician to give audit results but I may in the future so I am glad I got this information. I especially liked the physician feedback challenges.
